Custom frame $7,500

The Pursuit is a road machine with a pedigree going back to Renovo's first bikes in 2007. But besides being stunningly beautiful, this version is totally modern. With hollow frames, bent wood parts for extra strength in curved areas, and aluminum or carbon fiber interfaces at the head tube, seat tube, bottom bracket and drop-outs, the Pursuit is ready for a fast road ride.

Tire size on a Pursuit is for up to 35 mm / 700c wheels. If you need wider tires, look at our Whiskey Jack frames. And since we are talking about bike frames here, we can also build that frame out for you into your finished bike, complete with groupset, cockpit and wheelset to suit the way you want to ride. We don't mind if you would rather be on SRAM, Shimano, FSA, Rotor, or Campagnolo. But we are having trouble sourcing some of those lately with recent supply side issues.

The Renovo Spec Frame

The $7,500 Renovo Custom Frame

We build the Pursuit as a Limited Edition spec frame for $7,500. These are already built in the wood species and colors we like best. If we have one in your size, it can ship in as little as one week. If not in stock, you can get in the queue for the next one (that you like) in your size by placing a deposit of $1,200. Sizes of these frames are 52, 55, 58, and 61, or small, medium, large and extra large. We stop taking orders when we can't fill an order for a spec frame within 120 days.

For $7,5500, you can get an Edition of One, just for you. It can be any size in 1 cm increments from 50 to 62 cm. You also have broad choice for wood species, or you can send us wood that has special meaning to you, to be included in your Renovo frame. Start the order process to be at the front of the queue by placing a deposit of $1,200.  Editions of One currently take about 60-90 days to produce. Your frame will be produced with great sensitivity and skill. A carved head tube is available for plus $750. Nice.

Full builds vary for each rider. But budget $3,500 for a mechanical groupset like SRAM Rival with an alloy cockpit and alloy wheelset. Up that to $6,000 or so for carbon wheels, electronic wireless shifting and a carbon cockpit. It takes a spreadsheet to put together your list, and come up with a number, and the options are pretty unlimited. Of course, we can steer you to the suppliers and products we use the most, to get you the best value in a full build. And you may find that we have a pre-built bike in your size in our very lightly used demo bikes. Lately, we are building our bikes primarily with Rotor groupsets, Whiskey cockpits, and Rolf Prima Wheelsets.
